Welcome to Afterglow by Harlequin! Here you will find high concept, trend future romances in all subgenres published in print, ebook, and audio. 

Afterglow by Harlequin accepts both agented and unagented submissions.

We welcome all pairings and groupings—LGBTQ+ romances as well as m/f—and would especially welcome stories from authors belonging to traditionally marginalized communities.

Our editors are looking for bold, emotional, expansive stories with layered hooks and stand out tropes. We publish a broad range of romance, including dark romance, romantasy, paranormal, contemporary, fantasy, science fiction, and more. Give us all the unexpected twists and a romance as sweet or spicy as you want it to be.

What to Submit

• A detailed query letter pitching your book to our editors. For guidance on how to write an effective query letter, visit Write For Harlequin here.      
• Your full manuscript, minimum word count 75K
• A 3-5 page synopsis describing your story, including plot outline, character development and conflict resolution/ending (please tell us how it ends!)
